Age Spots Cause
Question by Cassiopeian – DBSK = love ^^: Spots on forehead and nose, help ?!?
I’ve had spots on my face for ages, literally. I started getting them when I was in like year 6
And then last year I finally went to my doctor and she gave me medication and some lotion to put on my face. The pills she gave me are called ‘erythromycin’ and the lotion she gave me is called ‘zineryt’. I’ve been taking them for around 6 months now and until last month they had started working. My skin was so clear, all I had left were scars. But then I started getting them again and it’s not on the whole face. But it’s mostly in the T-zone; on my forehead and nose. I don’t know what to do, i feel so weird now because after having such nice skin it goes back to the way it was :/
I still use the medication and lotion and the doctor said I had to wait until the infection or whatever it is causing the acne to get treated in my body but I thought it had been treated because it was clear but I still didn’t stop taking the pills or using the lotion.
If anyone has used the above mediction or lotion, is this normal? And if not then what should I do?
Also is this acne or just spots? And what can I do to get rid of them?
Please help. Thank you.

Hi,
Zineryt is good. But it took a while to work, so I gave up and used Top Shirley Medicated Cream instead. Worked a treat.
What I’ve realized with medicines for acne is that they’ll have the reverse effect if you use them too often. You’re skin will get used to them, so either the reverse or no effect will take place.
It’s the same with any other medicine. If the problem isn’t that severe, just wash with Dove sensitive skin soap with clean water once in the morning and once in the evening and put on a high quality lotion with SPF at least 15 to keep the sun from damaging your sensitive skin. I recommend Olay lotion for sensitive skin. Because of the “spot” issue, just be safe and use sensitive skin stuff. Just this simple basic process of face washing will help!
