Age Spots Cause
Question by tcourtneyneal: Show room 89 Prelude built for handling & speed. Spun bearings before engine swap. Research, looking for fit.?
Engine in it (B20A5) is hard to find and is tilted for very low roofline fit. Looking for power to compliment it’s looks. Lowered, polyurethene bushings, coilovers, tokico shocks, one of a kind wheels that won’t fit anything else I’m interested in. Alot of money in it at this point. Looking for dimensions for B16′s, B18′s, F22, and H22 engines from the true import tuner enthusiasts, they know the dedication to the sport of it all. I’d like to know if any of the above engines could be tilted a few degrees or will this cause hot spots. I have a welder/mechanic who is willing to help but he deals in building and drag racing Chevys and has limited knowledge of import tuning. He’s offered to do alot of fabrication to include the oil pan. We both need guidance.Time is of esscence. Right now it’s sitting out in the weather, the interior, exterior, suspension. It could quickly look it’s age from neglect and time. The death of this car is way before it’s time. It really should be brought back.

Why don’t you just buy a rebuilt motor for the car and modify it to your heart’s content? That way all you have to do is pull the dead engine and replace it with the same kind of “rice burner”…
