Question by BEN T: Please help spots and foundation ?
Hey im Kadie.
My old foundation was Rimmel London and it contained oil/hule inside it. I had just started getting rid of my spots although i still had quite a few in my t-zone definitley loads of blackheads and 2 blemishes / 1 scar.
Anyway i am now using Loreal True match which has no oil and has glycerin instead. Ive only used it once because i bought it yesterday i use it everyday. But i have got 1 pimple on each cheek and a huge red one on my forehead, now i havent had either of them for ages.
Do you think my old foundation caused it? cause of the oil inside it because i was using it for about 1-2 month? Do you think my new one won’t do it.
It also made my face really oily and thats so not me!!??
I am starting to drink lots of water because im kinda worried about my spots keep asking my mum if she thinks im spotty.
Also how can i get rid of blackheads i have used biore strips and everything and im now using neutrogena its not working

blackheads:
pour some water on a deep pan let it boil when you see the steam put your face near the steam where it can reach your face to open up the pores then go to the sink and use yor wash and use cold water to close them. do this a few times a weeks and youll see results.
the hot water opens pores to celan them then the cold water closes them to remove all the dirty stuff.
also make sure you always remove makeup before going to sleep.
i use the true match and i love it it deos tend yto break me out though but im willing to put up with it since i found the perfect shade for me.

Ah, pimples. Yes, oil-free foundation won’t cause pimples quite as much as foundation with oil in it. And yes, the water drinking will help.
Oh, how I thrive on bossing people around about their skin. When I turned thirteen, I was bombarded with a cascade of pimples. But pimples are very simple to get rid of, many teens just don’t bother to get the info on it.
You need to wash, tone and moisturize your face every day, but only once a day NOT TWICE. Washing it will get rid of the dirt and other nonsense clogging your pores, and if you use a scrub it will get rid of dead skin too. If you’re worried about blackheads, look for a face wash that specifically says that it focuses on blackheads.
Now, the toner. Toner gets rid of excess oil clogging your pores, and will also make your pores smaller and therefor it will be harder for stuff to get inside and clog them. Not to mention your skin will look smoother.
The moisturizer moisturizes, obviously. If you don’t moisturize after washing and toning, your skin will dry out and over-produce oil, therefor undoing everything you’ve just done for your skin. S the moisturizer is very, very important. When you apply it to your eyes, pat it on rather than wiping it on, so as to not pull the skin and cause untimely wrinkles.
My favorite brands are Proactiv and Aveeno, but everyone’s skin is different and just because they work great for me doesn’t necessarily mean they will for you.
EDIT: The previous poster was completely right about removing makeup and steaming your face, sorry I forgot to mention that.
