glad thas over! i get nervous with ear,eye or teeth stuff. anything else i seem to handle well.
can u put aloe on it? maybe help speed up healing?
So many people our age and older keep getting skin cancer. You’re right. In my mom’s generation, they didn’t use anything, and in my generation we either used Noxema on our faces or baby oil. We didn’t realize we were cooking ourselves to death, just like roasting a turkey! I don’t imagine this will be my first bout with skin cancer. I’ve had a few really nasty sunburns in my life. Now I bought a big sun resistant hat and some 60 SPF lotion which I glop all over myself every day. Even my ears.

I have had so much medical stuff that this was just another thing and really not a big deal. It took him 10 minutes and since I had to have my eye closed, I didn’t have to see that long nasty needle. When he was done, and putting the stitches in, It felt like he was sewing my eyelids shut! So I asked him, and he said yes!!! (He didn’t). I think there are 2 stitches. This morning there is only swelling. Yesterday it hurt to wear my reading glasses, but today it’s just annoying.

A good teacher of mine, Mrs. Burns, has extensive skin cancer because nobody told her 40 years ago that excess sunlight was bad. Now she has to take days off to get the stuff on her legs and back frozen off.
But she’s just like you; she never lets it get her down
