Question by Diana<33: My hamster has a small bald spot?
Hey I have had my hamster Gizmo for about 1 year and 3-4 months. I have noticed a bald spot on his back, not a big one but Im worried. He is still eatinng and drinking normal and is active. Is this cause hes aging? Thanks!=)

is it a male.. becuz i have sugar gliders and the males get bald spots on there head when the get mature.. idk about hamsters tho

It might be because of age like you said, I’m not sure what it could be but if you want you can call a pet store and just ask them what they think it is, it could be nothing at all though
it could be the cause of his aging but i would keep a eye on him just incase as long as he is drinking and eating that is wonderful news
