Age Spots Cause

Question by Amerie S: Is 12 years old a normal age to have pimples?
See, I just had my period(the first time) which has finished two days ago and sunddenly, tonight, my body was itchy and I discovered reddish spots at my chest,, waist and my back. My mum said that it was pimples. But why did it come all in a sudden? When I pressed it, a typeof liquid came out. I have never experienced it before. My mum , who is a doctor and my sister,a pharmacist, said that if you press a pimple which is around the nasal/nose area, it may cause death because sum kind of germ enters the brain and it may also cause you becoming a crazy person.
\SO please PLEASE help me GUYS!

Yes, I started getting acne around that age and still have it. (Of course, I am 14 and do have bangs and long hair)

for a girl it is because girls go through puberty way earlier than guys for some reason. from like 13-16 and guys are like 15-18 which kinda sucks for us but whatever

That is perfectly normal. I started getting pimples back in fifth grade and now I still have them going into high school. So while it’s normal, get used to it, for most people it stays a while and is REALLY annoying. But don’t feel bad about it or anything, cause everyone gets it at one point or another, trust me. The liquid is pus, and while it may be disgusting you get used to it. There are different opinions as to whether or not you should pop pimples, I think it can help in certain cases and in others it can’t. I’m not disputing your mom and your sister, but if that was true, I would’ve been six feet under a long time ago. If you want to get them to go away, there are all sorts of things you can try, benzoyl peroxide works well, and so does things you can have prescribed. It probably came because of the increased hormones from your period. Just don’t freak out about it, it may be annoying but it is completely normal.

This is more than what you asked for but I’m really bored at the moment.
