Age Spots Cause

Question by Roflcopter: I am going Bald at age 16 – 17…?
I just turned 17. I have always had thin hair but its been getting really thin lately. I have pretty long hair and it looks pretty good it most spots the only problem is i have a high hairline. I cant cover my forehead anymore with my hair cause its thinned out too much. So now I kind of comb it over to the side, but its not parted.

This kid at lunch was like dude, nice combover! your gonna be Bald by the time your 18! and i get comments on my big forhead alot.

I cant shave my head, im in 11th grade and ive had long hair all my life. ill look rediculous.

WHAT TO DO? (I am using products, not helping much)

There’s a drug out there called Propecia. It’s like a Rogaine, except it works a lot better! But U do need to get a prescription from a doctor in order to get it. It should cost around $ 70 dollars. Since it is considered cosmetic, insurance won’t cover it.
If U R lucky enough to belong to a well-to-do family or have wealthier relatives, see if U can borrow money to get a follicular hair transplant, there a lot better than they were in the past, though it’ll set U back several grand to get the procedure done.
As for U using whatever products U have been trying out, would that include also hair thickening shampoo too? U just might be willing to look into more expensive products,as they seem to work better than the cheap brands out there.
Hope what suggestions I’ve just given U will help U out with your hair loss problem. I wish U the best of luck.

I don’t understand why you would look ridiculous with a head shave or at least a buzz cut. This is probably your only option and i believe that it’s better be bald by choice than be half way bald by nature. Also comb over look really silly.
