Age Spots Cause
Question by teardrop5: How can i get the yellow, a result of age, out of old barbie stuff??
I am a devout barbie collector and still have all my original toys from when i was young (in addition to the many i have collected as an adult!!!). As time progressed, ive noticed that certain pieces of furniture and even some barbies have acquired weird yellow spots, or just a complete funky yellowish change in color. I know ive seen somewhere (probably in a Barbie Bazaar magazine) that this can be removed without causing any damage to the item. My problem is, i dont know the remedy!!
I know there are fellow barbie collectors out there that can help me!!

Try making a paste out of baking soda and water, and scrubbing with an old toothbrush. Then make sure to rinse with lots of water and mild detergent afterwards.

Try white vinegar, it works on counter tops. Also shaving cream(certain kinds, I know that men’s edge) works on baby doll faces(you have to let it sit for about 5 minutes and wipe with a warm wet cloth) so maybe that. If it’s clothing use a tide to go or bleach pen.
