Liver Spots Treatment
Question by Pink Berry: Did cancer kill this little girl ?
ok so a girl last year died she was 4 years old
i never knew her i was just following her blog (mother’s)
she had neuroblastoma, the chemo did not work, doctors said there is nothing to do
but she went into a trail treatment and she lived for a year on this treatment i think ,she lived happily and healthy
if you saw her you would not tell she had/has cancer
anyhow, she had a fever then went to the hospital and the doctor said she had an infection in her lungs
and later she died the cause was “unidentified infection” but they preforemed autopsy and the found cancer in her ovaries and i think spots on the liver or the brain i do not remember
god bless her,i feel heart broken and i can’t stop thinking about her
little angel i hope she is pain free now
but i really want to know
was it cancer ? or the
infection ?
it’s ridicelous how Y!A cuts my questions
i emailed them but they still cut them
they almost never post my Qs full
s i said she was not undergoing chemo
and her primary tumor was not in the head it was above her kidneys
and she was stable for too long
it is a Q just because you dont know the answer does not mean its not a Q
i want to know
i think of her every single day i read (and re-read) her blog almost weekly
i feel like i know her i feel attached to her

There’s no true way to know without being a physician on the case. But given what I know….she most likely did die of the infection.
Children are incredibly resistant to cancer. Neuroblastoma, however, is the most common and deadly brain cancers. So while it’s possible that cancer killed her ( you said it was found elsewhere, which means it was stage 4 metastatic), it’s more likely that she died unexpectedly of an infection. Cancer patients generally do not die quickly–it is a slow process. So given the suddenness of the death, and the fact that secondary infection is a common risk with chemo, NOT TO MENTION experimental procedures (God knows what could happen with those), I’d say she died of the infection and not the cancer. And thank God she got that infection. It would be less suffering than going by the cancer that would have slowly taken her.
ALSO** She had a fever. Didn’t see that at first. Now I’m sure it was the infection. Fevers are a product of infection, not cancer.
This isn’t really a question, is it.
I can explain about Neuroblastoma on the brain. Brain cancer is not painful as you would think, not like bone cancer or other body organs.
With this type of cancer, the patient will usually discover it when he/she loses feeling in hands, legs depending on the area of the tumor. Or they will drop things when trying to hold it..again depending on the area of the tumor. This sends them to a doctor to find out the cause.
So many new treatments are available now to give the patient a bit longer quality of life. Closer to the end, the patient will be unable to speak as much, swallow as well so their food may have to be blended like baby food, their immune system with all the treatments will be almost zero, making them subject to more infections that can rage through the body, thus ending their life before they pass on from the results of having a neuroblastoma.
While I did say at the beginning, headaches are frequent but usually can be controlled, of course all of this still goes back to the area of the tumor.
How do I know of this so much? My Mother had Neuroblastoma Multiform on the right side of her brain and lived just over 2 years with aggressive treatment. She was able to speak to me up until the last 10 days where she just drifted deeper and deeper into sleep.
By her having this in different sites as you mentioned, this must not have been her primary cancer, thus it spread to her brain as the cells of cancer will do. Other areas of the body would have caused pain. More than likely the cancer went from her ovaries to the brain and liver, this is the usual path of metastatic cancers.
the infection was a complication from the cancer…
She died from complications due to cancer . . she developed an infection that ordinarily a healthy body would be able to fend off with treatment. Almost any type of infection . . bacterial or virus or fungal can be life threatening for cancer patients because of lowered immune system. An example would be a common bacteria found on everyones skin can become harmful to anyone with a lowered immune system . . the body is unable to fight off simple infections. It happens. Not sure what difference this makes to you as this little girl still lost her life because of complications due to cancer. With cancer there is no cure for cancer, only treatment that may lead to an individual ‘cure’ or remission. There are no guarantees.
I agree that its the infection that killed her. my sister who also is battling cancer, has to take a lot of medicines, but most of them are to prevent infections. Although these medicines don’t prevent all infections, they do help. I think that a rare infection got into her and killed her. I feel very sorry for you and her parents/close ppl. Good luck
Why would she want to get rid of those beautiful freckles?
even when its done on your chest??? weird
@elflady86 I really don’t know what to tell you. Then don’t get the procedure done. I’m not the expert here, but doing the eyelids is dangerous.
Use eyeshadow to cover it up. Primer sometimes covers stuff like that up pretty decently.
I would guess not, and I’m almost positive no one would do it because it’s too close to the eyes.
so what’s the point of removing the the ones on my face and leaving the ones on my eyelids, i would look like a freak
how much would the chest procedure cost? anyone know? I am self concious of my freckles.
would be good to see after shots
it feels like rubberbands snapping against your face
Can’t wait till some asshole ruins the business and makes a portable IPL
Is it possible to have the treatment done only on the nose? Who much world it cost?
I´d really like to know exactly how this treatment feels. How painful is it?
how often do you have to do this treatment, won’t the freckles just come back
i see this lady is wearing protectiv glasses….can freckles be removed from eyelids?
so how much would it cost to get just my nose and upper cheeks (under my eyes) done?
where can you go to do this??
There is no age limit on treated freckles or sun damage. The most important thing is that you take care of your skin after the treatment. This means no sun tanning booths and taking it easy on the UV exposure. Average price from a full face IPL run from about $350-$500 if you have it done by a physician, arms will run from $400-$800 the cost on legs is heavily dependent on how many areas need to be treated and the size of the legs.
very nice. How old do I need to be to have freckles removed? And whats the average price go to remove freckles from both arm, face, and legs?
