Skin Cancer

“CrossFit has introduced me to courage beyond the military,” says Kirk from CrossFit Valdosta. “It’s the community and the mental strength that comes from it.” Kirk has been diagnosed with Stage 3 melanoma skin cancer but isn’t letting that stop him from competing in the Open.

Question by : How do I get a really good tan from the sun?
How much sun tanning a day would I need to get a really good tan?
Okay so I’m 14. I have a little bit of a tan, I wouldn’t say I have fair skin more medium based, so yeah, i’m a little bit tanned. I wear makeup so I don’t really need a tan on my face. I live in Australia, so its normally always hot here and it’s summer atm. I tan outside NOT tanning booths and I don’t want to use tanning lotions. I have Reef tanning oil, it works okay. I don’t really sunburn too much and if I do, it mostly turns tan. Also please don’t mention “Your going to get old and wrinkly without sunscreen!” “You’ll get skin cancer” etc. I understand that ! I WILL wear sunscreen where needed! so please stop saying this, I live in Australia! one of the most hottest countries in the world, I understand the consiquences!

Anyways, thank you so much!
I’m looking for best answer and the question is basically:
How much sun tanning a day would I need to get a really good tan?
or How can I get a really good tan from sun tanning outside?

I went tanning outside all the time when I was younger and I went 30 minutes on the front and 30 minutes on my back and it takes longer to tan outside then in the tanning place. It will take about a week to get a nice tan if you go every day. If you want it faster you should get a really good lotion. I get mine from www.lotionsource.com they have really strong lotions for a lot cheaper price then at the salon. They have a clearance section and i got a really good tanning lotion from there for about 8 dollars. If you don’t have a good lotion or want to use your oil go for about an hour on your front and an hour on your back. Also the best time to go tanning is when there are no clouds covering the sun because if the clouds are covering the sun they you will be just laying there for no reason. And go tanning from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. because after 3 the sun is not that strong so you won’t get that tan.
