use all the help you can.
The withdrawl isnt “that bad”
I’ve quit smoking which was 200 times worse.
The biggest thing is getting away from the alcohol the biggest problem is going to be your alcoholic fiance.
When she drinks and you arent it will make things rough.
Use the help availiable like AA or rehab/ therapy.
When it gets to the point of possible death you cant take any risks.

You need to go through a safe detox. Explain this to your doctor or call AA and ask them what to do. I don’t think you will ever stop drinking as long as you are living with another alcoholic unless she stops drinking too. It would be good if you could support each other, but sadly, that often doesn’t happen and it works against you. Detoxing on your own especially if you are a heavy drinker can be quite risky to your health. You most likely will need some medications to get you through it.
