Age Spots Cause

Question by JAF: Why everytime i am somewhere, the streets, school, hang-out spots, do people of both gender stare at me?
So basically i want to know why i am being stared at all the time. When i am just walking around, any where, girls are staring at me, very intensley. In school for instance, i am a junior in high school, and for freshman and sophmore yr., no girl paid attention to me, and know the good- looking senior girls watch me walk down the hall way, switch real hard past me, (knowing i’m going to look cause they asses, HUGE!!) and just real hard stares from them. My lil brother, freshman at my school, knows a lot of freshman gitrls, and i know for a fact they are attracted to me. This is funny, but i also think the school saftey and the female teachers at school like me too, because even grown women in the street, stare at me as hard as girls my age do. Now with the males, I won’ t cal threm “gay” but i want to know why men stare at other men, and not because they are gay, because i was told that when males stare at another 1 it shows that they are inferior, and i believe that, because why stare at another male, and even grown men stare at me (WTF?). I asked around and answers i got was that i am probably just a very attractive person, but i need some diffrent opinions on this question, so sophisticated answers only.

P.S. Before the school yr. started, i begun to smoke weed, and i think thta has some affect of why people stare at me. My freinds tell me i changed, from the last couple of months, my teach stated in front of the class that i walk with my shoulders out, and i think i walk diffrently, so i also aanted to know could weed have made this staring occur. 1 more thing, i also feel stupid sometimes, because i let sexy girls just walk past me, and i just want some opening lines to say to them, please.

Melanoma

Dr. Thomas P. Habif, MD discusses Dermoscopy Superficial Spreading Melanoma 2. See more at www.dermnet.com PLEASE RATE AND COMMENT!!! This is a picture of a pigmented lesion that appears to be suspicious. There is an irregular border, there is notching in one area, the pigmentation is dense in the center, there is an area of hypo-pigmentation that is pink out here on the edge. So our initial impression is that this is a worrisome lesion even before we view it with a Dermoscope. Lets look at the lesion now with the Dermoscope. We will analyze the pigment network first. Here the pigment network looks quite regular; there is a net-like pattern, the lines are quite uniform, and it blends out near the periphery. However, the net-like pattern is lost in these areas. Here it again seems to be quite normal. There is a bluish-white area typical of a bluish-white veil in the center; this was not apparent when the lesion was viewed with low-powered magnification. There does not seem to be any atypical vascular pattern. We will look at the periphery for streaks. I do not see any finger-like projections extending from the periphery. The pigmentation is quite irregular; it is very dense in this area, as it is in these other areas. The pigmentation is black, indicating that the melanin is high in the epidermis. I do not see any irregular dots or globules, and there are essentially no regression structures. Lets look at a high-power view of the same lesion. This area shows a well

Age Spots Cause

Question by supaaflygee: omfg i have black spots on my face helpp!?
do you think moles are reallyy unattractive? i have a very pretty face.. i have great skin, perfect shaped eyes (ive been told), and perfect shaped lips (ive been told again), and a very straight nose. and very symmetrical. the only problem is these moles! well i have a very small one above my lip, ive been told its cute, but then i have a bigger one next to my nose. its not humongous its like 3 millimeters (i measured cause i was going to get it off) and its not hairy or anthing.. i mean the only people that really bring it up are little kids..usually little boys. i try not to pay attention but, i sound like a fag right now, it really does hurt my feelings. the only person my age thats brought it up (im 15 btw) was some boy only because i rejected him. well anyway do you think its really gross for a girl to have a mole even though shes really pretty??? should i get it taken off or is it really not that big of a deal?

Question by buzznlikeneon: I was wondering what the characteristics of skin cancer are?
Are there websites that offer lists and pictures of what possible cancer “bumps” and “moles” might look like?

Best answer:

Answer by Kir S
http://www.caminomedical.com/dermatology/abcs.html

Check out this site. The general “rule” for checking moles are the ABCs–
A- Asymmetry- You should notice the general look of your moles or growths, for example, if one half of the mole or growth does not match the other half.

B- Border Irregularity – If the edges of the growth are ragged, notched or blurred.

C- Color – The pigmentation of the growth is not uniform. Shades of tan, brown and black are present. Dashes of red, white and blue add to the mottled appearance.

D- Diameter – If the width is greater than 6 millimeters (about the size of a pencil eraser), it could be an indicator of an abnormal skin growth. Generally, any new mole growth should be a concern.
