Skin Cancer

Watch the journey of a young Australian who suffered melanoma from the use of solariums. Young Melanoma Survivor Jay Allen is making people aware of the dangers of sunbeds. Jay feels they changed his life, so now he wants to try and save as many lives as he can through his campaign. If your under 35 and use a solarium twice, it increases your chances of developing skin cancer and in particular melanoma by 75%. The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) has moved Ultra-Violet emitting tanning beds to it’s highest cancer risk category and labeled them as carcinogenic to humans. By regulating sunbeds, they remain lethal and will cause deaths. These facts alone should be enough to have sunbeds banned. A tan is simply not worth dying for. Save our future generations! Please sign the petition NOW to see these deadly sunbeds and solariums BANNED in Australia and around the world. What could be the cause of me not getting pregnant?

Age Spots Cause

Question by Sarah: What could be the cause of me not getting pregnant?
I am young, 20 years old, and I am married. But I feel healthy and have normal periods and ovulate normal, with lots of egwcm. I am a little overweight but, i don’t think that could be the cause of it. I have been losing weight to see if it would help. But I have been trying for 1 year and a month, with no success. We tried using pre seed this month, I have heard lots of good stories with that. and I know it is just to help the environment for the little swimmers, but I thought just maybe. Anyways, so I started my normal spotting that I get, it always starts the sunday before AF shows up, and it’s there again so I know that means no success. I know I am young and have plenty of time, but I am financialy and emotionaly ready, and my husband is to. I don’t want to go to the doctor yet, I just think they won’t do anything because of my age. What can be causing me not to get pregnant?

Best answer:

Answer by green
Usually a woman who is young and healthy should be pregnant within the first 12 months of trying to conceive. If you haven’t conceived yet, even with the help of over-the-counter things like Pre-seed, you could be having some sort of fertility problems. It might not even be you, perhaps your husband has a low sperm count or something. While you are young, I see no reason why a professional would not be willing to speak to you or help you out with possible fertility treatments since you are married and say you are financially stable.

Really, there is no way to determine exactly what could be going on inside of you or your husband over the Internet. I would recommend talking to a doctor, but if you feel uncomfortable doing so yet, my best advice is to just keep trying until you feel ready to speak to a professional (or until you get pregnant!).

Best of luck to you!

Skin Cancer

Dr. James L. Campbell Jr., MD discusses Skin Cancer Malignant Melanoma. See more at www.dermnet.com PLEASE RATE AND COMMENT!!! Introduction Melanoma is a common malignancy of melanocytes, most often arising in the skin. It is potentially curable with early detection and treatment. Late diagnosis of melanoma carries a poor prognosis. The most common early signs include an increase in size, change in color or shape of the lesion. The most common early symptom is itching, but most are asymptomatic. Later symptoms include tenderness, bleeding, and ulceration. Pigmented lesions may change slowly over months to years or abruptly change. Epidemiology Melanoma represents 4% of all cancers in men and 3% of all cancers in women. Melanoma is the most common malignancy in women age 25-29 and second only to breast cancer in women aged 30-35. Incidence of melanoma continues to rise at a faster rate than that of any other human cancer, and the increase in its mortality is second only to that of lung cancer. There are an estimated 92, 000 new cases and an estimated 7600 deaths from melanoma in the United States each year. The projected lifetime risk of melanoma for Americans born in the year 2000 is 1 in 75. Risk factors Factors that increase ones risk of developing melanoma include Fair skin (skin types I and II) Presence of atypical nevi in both sun-exposed and sun-protected areas Personal history of melanoma Family history of atypical nevi or melanoma History of blistering sunburn

Ask the Google about sun poisoning and skin cancer. See a doctor if you are worried. Peace of mind is worth a small deductible if that’s all you need to pay, but seriously, it would probably be a waste of time unless your symptoms don’t start fading in a few days.

Q&A: What causes bright spots in 1 year old brain mri?

Age Spots Cause

Question by ronnie: What causes bright spots in 1 year old brain mri?
He was born at 25 weeks, as a twin, weighing 1lb, 6 oz. His adjusted age is 11 months and now weighs 22 lbs. He didn’t have any problems with bleeding on the brain or infection (unfortunately his brother did). He was on oxygen for the first 8 months of his life. He had the MRI because the doctor thought his head was too big in proportion to his height and weight. His fine and gross motor skills are at the 1 year old level. His vision is okay. The doctor said the MRI was normal, with a small bright spot. I don’t know if we should be concerned about the bright spot.

You should have asked the doctor while you were there.

So instead, you’re asking millions of 14-year-old know-it-alls.

Good luck.
