Answer by Hughy Boy
Try a primer, I suppose they would create a sort of barrier between your foundation & skin?
You should be ok though as long as you wash it off well before you go to bed.

John Ostwald: You never forget a surgery
Do you remember your surgeries? I had minor surgery a few weeks ago to remove some alien growth from the inside of my jaw. It was biopsied and turned out to be benign. Yes, my mother and other relatives were concerned and engaged in their usual hobby — worrying — but it was no big …

Melanoma

Dr. Thomas P. Habif, MD discusses Dermoscopy Superficial Spreading Melanoma 1. See more at www.dermnet.com PLEASE RATE AND COMMENT!!! Superficial Spreading Melanoma This is a low-powered dermoscopic view of an entire lesion. Our initial impression of this lesion is that it is highly disorganized and probably a superficial spreading melanoma, but we are going to examine all of the components and use the 7-Point Checklist. Let us look at the pigment network. In this small area here it appears typical; the lines are uniform, the circles are uniform. When we come to this part of the lesion we see that the lines are dense, they are disorganized, they don’t form a net-like or reticular pattern over this very wide area. There is a very definite and prominent bluish-white veil here and in this area. These areas are translucent; they have a light, faint, blue color in the background indicating melanin pigmentation in the upper and lower dermis. These are highly characteristic features of superficial spreading melanoma. This area, in contrast, looks like an area of regression; it is smoother, and a brighter white. There is an atypical vascular pattern, here, here, and here; small, red dots. When you examine the periphery of the lesion I don’t see any finger-like projections, so there are really no irregular streaks. The pigmentation is irregular; dark here, lighter here, and even lighter in this area. It is highly disorganized. There are a few dots, but no larger dots that I would

Skin Cancer

Dr. James L. Campbell Jr., MD discusses Skin Cancer Superficial Spreading Melanoma. See more at www.dermnet.com PLEASE RATE AND COMMENT!!! Clinical Subtypes Four major clinical subtypes of melanoma are recognized, defined by clinical appearance, progression, anatomic site, and histologic appearance. Superficial spreading melanoma Superficial spreading melanoma is the most common subtype, accounting for 70-80% of all melanomas. It is most common in middle age, from the fourth to fifth decade. Of melanomas arising in a pre-existing lesion, most are superficial spreading. Superficial spreading melanoma is slightly more common in females than males and usually affects Caucasians. Any cutaneous site may be involved but they are most often found on the upper back of both sexes and on the legs of women. Lesions tend to be greater than 6 mm in diameter, flat and asymmetric with varying colors. SSM begins in a nonspecific manner and then changes shape by radial spread and regression. Lesions tend to spread laterally within the skin over a few years, before nodules develop. The random migration of cells, along with the process of regression, results in lesions with an endless variety of shapes and sizes. The shape is bizarre if left untreated for years. The hallmark of SSM is the haphazard combination of many colors, but it may be uniformly brown or black. Colors may become more diverse as time proceeds. A dull red color is frequently observed, which may occupy a small area or may

Age Spots Cause

Question by onelight: Age 50, woman, continual bleeding. Causes ? Menopause ?
Woman, age 50, has been experiencing continual ” vaginl.” bleeding for several weeks. Menstral cycles had been regular (every 30 days) up to this point.

No pains. No cramping. Just bleeding. More than just spotting.

Would menopause or perimenopause cause this ? If so, how long would that type bleeding last ? What would be some other issues that might cause that long continual bleeding ?

Doctor appt. has been scheduled. Just wondering before medical check up.
One reason, don’t have enough of a given harmone to stop the bleeding, for example. Which harmone ? Why would bleeding continue for weeks and weeks if that particular harmone is low ?
.

Best answer:

Answer by Q
It could be menopausal weirdness–you don’t have enough of a given hormone to stop the bleeding, for example. Or you could have fibroids–not uncommon at your age. Or there could be a more serious problem.
